Kari Pierce began her career with Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD, in July 2010. As a junior financial analyst contractor, she received several individual and team awards, including a 2012 Persist Peer Award and a 2013 Business Financial Team – Step Up Award.

Kari has provided exceptional service to the Direct and Time Sensitive Strike Program Office as a business financial manager supporting Sailors, Marines, and international partners. In 2016, Kari was promoted to a government civilian financial analyst position, supporting Naval Air Systems Command. She was nominated for an Excellence in Financial Management award in 2018. She also received a Letter of Appreciation supporting the Small Unit Remote Scouting Systems Financial Management.

Throughout her career, Kari has demonstrated an ability to collaborate with multiple groups, develop plans, and successfully execute solutions to financial challenges.

She has been a financial support analyst for over $309 million across several base appropriations and overseas contingency operations.
